Health Talks is a program provided to educate the residents of Playa Vista and the surrounding communities of Marina del Rey, Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, and Westchester, about health issues, prevention, and screenings to lower health risk factors. This program is run by Alia Matthews a licensed Physician working for Playa Vista Urgent Care.

Playa Vista Medical Center prides itself in participating in various
community activities such as the annual LAX/Coastal Chamberfest, 2008
Westchester Stars and Stripes Annual Parade and Picnic, Otis College Student
Wellness Fair, 2008 Jet to Jetty Fun Run, providing Clinic Tours to various
schools in the area, and presentations by Dr. Kent Shoji to various
community groups.
